Regions / Raleigh & the Triangle

5,161 private companies from Raleigh to the coast.

The Triangle index is the largest in the file. It runs Raleigh–Cary and Durham–Chapel Hill at its core, then carries Fayetteville, Greenville, Rocky Mount, Wilson, Goldsboro, New Bern and Jacksonville — 120 cities and towns, ten metro areas.

It also holds the only real technology concentration in the Carolina file: 100 IT companies and 70 custom software firms, against 50 in Charlotte.

Company City Trade Revenue Staff

Revenue and headcount are bands drawn from public classification data, not estimates of value. We publish no valuation, no multiple and no owner name. An owner who wants a listing corrected or removed can write to us and it is handled inside two business days.

One list of several thousand names is a page nobody can use and Google will not rank. The market is cut into index pages instead — 89 of them for Triangle — each one a phrase somebody actually searches, each with a floor so nothing thin gets published.

Triangle — members and partners

Ten metros, one overlay.

The company index is open. What members get on top of it: the buyer criteria mapped across all ten metros, and the owners in them who have told us they are ready to talk.

Free to members and to partner firms holding a category in this market.

The other three markets

Counts are from the current release of the Carolina company file — 16,323 records, 12,411 of them published across the three live markets. Figures are restated on each refresh rather than quoted as fixed.
